Configure custom code display in offers list

In this article we explain how custom codes can be configured to be displayed on offers.

Custom codes from requirements can be configured to automatically display on offers. They can be configured at company level where it affects all requirements and offers for that company, or at the supply category level where it applies only to requirements and offers for that specific supply category.

The configuration provides essential reference information linking commissioning requests to service offers, and enabling organisations to maintain traceability between requirements and offers.

⚠️Important: This feature must be configured by an Access administrator only. Please use the Access Digital Assistant to get support.


Custom codes in offers

Once the configuration has been enabled, the custom codes can be entered on requirements, as normal. When the offer is generated from the requirement, the custom code will automatically be copied over to the offers 'External ID' field, where it will be visible to all.

📌Note: New offers generated after enabling the preference will include custom codes. Existing offers are not retrospectively updated.
